Bultfontein: Bultfontein SAPS members were busy patrolling, when they received a complaint about business burglary. A house was approached and stolen items were found. Four teenage boys were arrested while trying to hide the loot. The four suspects appeared on the 12 December 2017 and case postponed till the 13 December 2017 for further investigation, as the three suspects are minors.
On the 11 December 2017, Constables Obakeng Oliphant and Mohlophehi Sejakonyana were busy with their vehicle patrol when they received a tip-off about suspects hiding the stolen items inside a shack in Phahameng, Bultfontein. Members rushed to the scene and found four suspects right handed, while busy hiding the stolen items. They could not produce papers to have all those items.
It was discovered that there was a business burglary that occurred at Yebo Yes shop, which belongs to a Bangladesh business man.
The following items were found in their possession: seven boxes of biscuits, six boxes of Ginger biscuits, four packets of baby Pampers and ten boxes of Banana biscuits.
The arrested suspects are: two 17 year olds, one 15 year old and one 18 year old. They are facing charges of burglary business and possession of suspected stolen items. The Bangladesh business man could also identify the stolen items as the ones belonging to him.
Among these arrested suspects, two (aged 15 and 17 years old) of them, are having two pending cases of burglaries and both will appear on the 20 December 2017 in Bultfontein Magistrate Court.
