Ventersburg: Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA); Lejweleputswa Branch, held a two day training workshop at the Department of Correctional Services; Ventersburg. The workshop was held on the 06 and 07 September 2017.

The aim of the training workshop is to give skills to learners (inmates) on how to start, grow and sustain a profitable business; how to manage cash flow; how to do marketing and how to generate revenue through sales.

15 inmates were able to attend the training. The Basic Business Skills Training Course is a participatory, outcome based and results oriented with the emphasis on potential entrepreneurs working on their own aspirations.

This training aims to assist inmates in overcoming challenges such as, lack of trust and lack of finance in starting their own businesses. Four modules were covered during the duration of the two days workshop, namely: Entrepreneurship; Sales; Marketing and Finance.
