Hardest times often lead to greatest moments of life.
We do not develop courage by being happy every day. We develop it by surviving difficult times and challenging adversity. Fire is the test of gold; adversity, of strong men. Show me someone who has done something worthwhile, and I will show you someone who has overcome adversity.
When facing adversity, remember, you have the ability to overcome any situation. God created you in His image; therefore, you are to be perfect, as He is (Matthew 5:48). God will fight your battles for you, but you have to show up for the fight.
Position yourself with individuals who will aid in your time of need, not ones who will besiege you. Are you letting someone get you stirred up, cause you to be bitter, discontent, jealous? Recognize what’s happening. They are sowing discord into your life.
Keep away from those that cause division, convince you of everything that is wrong with the company, wrong with your spouse and wrong with life. Do not let their poison cause you to make bad decisions. Could the outcome of your circumstances be a reflection of what you value?
Be cautious of what you desire for it may come to pass. Pay attention to what you are calling in; it’s going to come. You will eat the fruit of your words. What you are always talking about, you are inviting into your life. If you expect and talk negatively, you will receive negative responses and rewards.
If you talk positively, you will receive positive feedbacks, responses and rewards. Those who succeed in life, live positively. Even when they come across speed humps and obstacles, they took that as learning curves, experiences, challenges and work tirelessly to overcome them each day.
Do not invite defeat; do not invite lack. If you are struggling with an addiction, do not say, “I will never break this bad habit, I have had it too long.” You need to call in freedom. Call in wholeness.
Even when you are not sure of the outcome, you can be sure of your Creator. He is with you, He is for you, and He is working all things together for your good. It may not always be easy but He will make a way.
