If you say: “I am facing challenges”, who is not?
I met an old friend of mine, not so long ago and he told me about challenges he is facing in life. How life keeps on throwing him curve balls. How he had tried commiting suicide, not only once but four times.
At the end of it all, he said: “Bro, I do not wish this even to my worst enemies. Life is hard and this is not the full story that I have shared with, because you will never understand what I went and currently going through.”
He was right about one thing, everyone goes through challenges. I was quick to say to him:” Are you facing challenges and who is not my friend.” When you worry about getting new shoes, food, employment, success and all, who is not worrying about the same.
You might feel that you are the only one who is facing challenges but the truth is that you are not the only one. Challenges drains our minds, hearts and souls but that does not mean, it is only you and you alone.
It is when you share your challenges or problems and the next person start sharing theirs, you realise that other people have bigger problems than yours.
Facing challenges makes you stronger.
Challenges are a part of everyday life. They make us stronger and without them life becomes somewhat meaningless because we have nothing to compare the good times to.
These challenges come in many forms. For some, the challenge is doing well at school, for others it is getting to grips with financial worries.
But, regardless of the challenge, facing up to it is key. Doing so will make you feel like you can take care of yourself, it will also make you understand the value of what you have now.
