Allanridge: On Friday; 28 February 2020, in the evening, members arrested two suspects and recovered dagga worth an estimated R990 000.

Operation knock-out members received information about a Toyota Hilux bakkie that was to drive pass Allanridge Town, from Klerksdorp on its way to Cape Town.

The members devised a plan and while on the R30, they saw a vehicle that matched the description of the said vehicle. The vehicle was cornered and forced to stop.

Upon searching the vehicle, members found 37 dagga bags neatly packed at the bag of the Toyota and its trailer, The driver and his crew were immediately arrested for dealing in dagga.

It was later discovered that the dagga was estimated to be worth R990 000. The bakkie and its trailer were also confiscated.

The two suspects, aged 31 and 39, appeared in the Allanridge Magistrate court on 02 March 2020, for dealing in dagga.
