There is an appointed time for everything.
There is an appointed time for everything and there is a time for every event under heaven. A time to give birth and a time to die; A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted. A time to kill and a time to heal; A time to tear down and a time to build up.
A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance. A time to throw stones and a time to gather stones; A time to embrace and a time to shun embracing. A time to search and a time to give up as lost; A time to keep and a time to throw away.
None of us like to go through waiting periods, but we all have things we are waiting on. A dream to come to pass, our health to improve, to meet the right person.
We know the promise in our heart, but we wonder why it is taking so long to happen. The Word tells us that there is an appointed time, which means any other time is the wrong time.
If you do not understand that, He will always be right on time. The waiting periods will cause you to be frustrated. But you can only receive the promise within His timing.
He knows when you are ready, when to open the door, when to turn it around. If it is not happening yet, be mature enough to say with David, “God, my times are in Your hands.”
Now do your part and trust Him. Wait for the Creator who created the universe to unfold His plan for your life. He knows what and when is right for you. He will not give you a burden huge enough for you to not be able to carry.
