Lindley: Bethlehem Public Order Police Task Team members arrested a couple at their residence for possession of crystal meth.

On the 10 May 2021, the SAPS members reported on duty and headed to Ntha; Lindley, following information from community about a suspect allegedly selling drugs in the area.

The team proceeded to Ntha Township to an identified house with a shack inside the yard, where the couple was found.

Reportedly, upon searching, the team found cash and Crystal meth weighing 2.08 grams (10 medium packets and 5 small packets) worth an estimated street value of R1 250.00.

Two suspects aged 23 and 21 were arrested and detained for allegedly dealing in drugs.

They are expected to appear before the Lindley Magistrate’s Court today, Tuesday; 11 May 2021, facing a charge of dealing in drugs.
