A total of 2 232 738 tests have been processed cumulatively of which 38 114  tests have been conducted since the last report.

Reported COVID-19 Deaths:

Regrettably, 174 more COVID-19 related deaths have been reported: 4 from Northern Cape, 27 from KwaZulu Natal, 17 from the Eastern Cape, 44 from the Western Cape and 82 from Gauteng. This brings the total national deaths to 4346.

The recoveries to date are 146 279 and this translates to a recovery rate of 49%.
