Bayswater: Four suspects were arrested in the early hours of Saturday after they attacked a house in Bayswater and fled with stolen goods.
It was on Saturday; 11 November 2017, when four unknown males allegedly surprised occupants of a house in Bayswater, demanding money. The suspects fled the scene with undisclosed amount of cash, household electrical appliances and plasma screens.
Shortly thereafter, police received intelligence led information at about 04:00 the same day, on the whereabouts of the suspects at a house in Phahameng, Mangaung. Bloemfontein Flying squad reacted swiftly to the information and four suspects were found at the house. Items such as four plasma screens, wrist watch, binoculars, toy-gun, professional racing bike, bedding and an undisclosed amount of cash, were found inside the house. Some of the property confiscated, matched those of robberies committed earlier in Bayswater.
The suspects aged between 25 and 31 were arrested for possession of suspected stolen goods and armed robbery. Provincial Trio Task team is busy with their investigations to see if the suspects were involved in a spate of robberies that recently took place in the Bayswater area.
Their case was postponed to Monday, 20th November 2017 for bail information.
Suspect’s names cannot be released as investigators are busy with other linkages.
