Bloemfontein: On Monday; 30 August 2021, the Free State Provincial Government (FSPG), hosted the Deputy Minister of Health; Dr Sibongiseni Dlhomo and Deputy Minister of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation; Ms. Thembi Siweya, at the Free State Rugby Stadium.

The visit was part of the Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation’s ongoing frontline monitoring programme that is aimed at assessing the quality of service delivery and to ascertain progress in the implementation of the vaccination programme.

During the monitoring session, the Deputy Ministers were accompanied by the Free State Premier; Sisi Ntombela, Free State MEC of Health; Montseng Tsiu and Executive Mayor of Mangaung, Mxolisi Siyonzana.

Monitoring visit at Pelonomi Academic Hospital

Thereafter, the entourage undertook a frontline service delivery monitoring visit at Pelonomi Academic Hospital.

Drive-thru Vaccination site. 

The new drive-thru vaccination site has been opened at the Free State rugby stadium. It is operational from Monday to Friday, with operating hours from 08:00 till 15:00.
