God didn’t and don’t hurt us, but people do.
As I stayed late at night and woke up at the crack of dawn today, still pondering on what and how I would be writing today’s blog, I had thoughts, words, expressions flooding my mind.
I felt a sense of awe as I thought of victims of GBV, the reality of another Goldfields TVET College’s student whose life was cut short over the weekend as the country was crippling with high incidents of Gender Based Violence and so called Xenophobic attacks.
With clear plan in mind and about to start, a friend of mine send me video, KING NOTHING by Clayton Jennings. It made me realised that it is when I struggle that I strengthen. It is when challenged to my core that I learn the depth of who I am.
God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience, but shouts in our pains: it is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world. He will never bring us this far to leave or forsake us.
I immediately changed my mind and thought of sharing the video with you. My thoughts and words can wait for next week. Believe you me, I will still continue with the subject next week.
For now, please watch the video and hope you will gain enough from it as I certainly did!!!!
