Great moments are born from great opportunities.

“Great achievement is usually born of great sacrifice, and is never the result of selfishness.” – Napoleon Hill.

Great moments do not just exist. They need to come from something. The opportunity, the fight to the top, the desire to win comes first. Any team, business or person who aspires or fight to win, do so not only by miracle or luck. Rather, they win because they took advantage of the opportunity and they believed that they could win.

They train for it, they work hard for it and the coach/manager or mentor instill the winning mentality and self belief. It is the same in business and personal lives. There is a saying that “Rome was not build in one day.” It basically mean that success and the work in achieving it, takes time.

When presented with opportunities, seize the moment and run with it. Every small step, action and stride can take you to greater heights. It is during this moments that opportunities are presented and this can lead to greater things in life.

To achieve great things, two things are needed; a plan, and not quite enough time. “Greatness lies, not in being strong, but in the right using of strength; and strength is not used rightly when it serves only to carry a man above his fellows for his own solitary glory. He is the greatest whose strength carries up the most hearts by the attraction of his own.” – Henry Ward Beecher
