How to drive a successful Social Media Branding campaign.
Social media branding is a form of selling your company or product through social platforms on the internet; namely Facebook, twitter and whatsapp, to mention a few.
Social media platforms are meant for easy communication and communication is an important aspect of selling.
These platforms have become one of the most effective ways to market a brand and if implemented correctly, they can give a brand easy access to their target markets.
As much as it is easy to access clients on social media, the way a message is interpreted to a consumer might hinder a sale. The main purpose of this kind of branding is to boost brand awareness, hence entreprenuers must be conscious of what they say on their pages.
A negative post on one of these platforms may lead to negative sales and if the brand is still new in the market, that might be their end of the road. From social media a business owner can get feedback on their products, calculated feedback( exact numbers).
Social media made it easy for consumer to interact with the business owners through commenting and giving suggestions. By leveraging the power of social media branding, one can build an effective network of fans who are not only loyal but are willing to buy from you.
Social media can also be used for word of mouth marketing, where consumers are able to share posts about your brand, making it more familiar within their eyes so the manner in which a brand shows itself on social media platforms is key.
The creativity on the social media pages of a company is vital, giving consumers reason to be eager to check for new posts or share posts because of the entertainment.
It is advisable to hire a social media expert or a creative person to be responsible for social media marketing, so, outsourcing skills that are lacking is a green light for future growing sales.
In most cases entreprenuers hire/pay public figures or celebrities to market their products on social media, it is a proven marketing strategy where big companies (mostly alcohol manufactures) make an influential person their face for marketing purposes.
These public figures also have a number of followers on their social media pages, hence whatever they say affects your brand even if they are not talking about your brand.
This also boils down to the manner of conduct a business owner keeps on their personal platforms because it also affects the brand.
To perfect social media branding:
In order to find success on social media platforms one has to know their business. What defines the brand and how is it different.
This will help with encoding a clear message to target market.
Knowing your target audience, being aware of their needs and wants.
This will allow tailored marketing efforts.
Content shared on social media has the power to break or make your social media marketing campaign or better yet, your brand. Content used to communicate message should be appropriate.
