Bloemfontein: Free State Based KN Studios held their launch event at Windmill Casino, Bloemfontein on Thursday night, 11 May 2017.
Speaking at the launch, Kgosi Ntono (pictured): founder and Managing Director of KN Studios, said that KN Studios is a creative post-production studio majoring in 3D animation, motion graphics, visual effects, films, television, corporate communication, 3D illustration; conceptual designing and scripting.
“We would like to have a well grinded, chiselled, original, and unique product services or offerings that have African theme. Our mission is to pioneer and bring forth ground breaking concepts locally and internationally. Harvesting the best talents from South Africa, Africa and internationally whilst creating profitable opportunities within the Film and TV industry. We aim to become a household name in the creative and entertainment industry across the world.” said Kgosi.
Their vision is to build a world-class creative studios in various countries around the world as well as owning TV channels that display KN Studios’ productions, varying from cartoons, telenovas, edutainments and films.
Tony Kgoroge, Free State born South African Actor; President of the Creative and Cultural Industries Federation of South Africa (CCIFSA) who was the Guest Speaker at the launch said that Free State Province has infrastructure, theater, talent and ideas that can grow the Creative Arts industry. “We need to establish good relationships so that people like Kgosi, can be pushed further into the creative industry. To Kgosi: Creativity, visionary strategies and excellent leadership qualities go hand in hand. Think of how you going to protect this legacy. Never, give up the thinking.” he concluded.
