Odendaalsrus: The Police are looking for four robbery suspects after a couple from Kutloanong was attacked on arrival at their home from their business area.

On the 20 January 2019, the husband [41] and his wife [34], who are owners of LG Tavern situated in K5 arrived at their residential place in K6, Kutloanong location, Odendaalsrus. They parked their vehicle, a white Toyota Corolla, and just when they were about to come out of their vehicle they were attacked by two unknown African men who were in the yard. The husband was searched at gunpoint and the suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash.

There were two additional two African men from the street who attacked the wife and they forcefully took an undisclosed amount of cash from her hands. Two shots were fired towards the wife and she sustained a gunshot wound on her left cheek.

The four armed suspects allegedly forced them inside their house and instructed them to lie on the floor. The husband was kicked and the house ransacked, an amount of cash was also found and two Nokia cellphones.

While they were demanding the couples car keys, one of the neighbours who heard the commotion, threw several stones on the roof of his neighbour. That scared the suspects and they fired three shots while fleeing.

The Police were informed and the wife was taken to one of the hospitals in Matjhabeng for medical treatment.
