Bethlehem: Bohlokong Detectives are investigating a case of murder following the death of a 40 year old man who died at the local hospital in the afternoon of Tuesday; 16 June 2020, after he was taken for treatment during the morning of the same day.
Police were summoned to the deceased house in Phase 7; Bohlokong; Bethlehem on Tuesday after it was reported that the deceased was fighting with his sisters. Upon arrival the police found the decease lying on the floor with injuries on his head and hands. He was rushed to the local hospital where he later died.
It is alleged that the deceased arrived at his place where he stayed with his sisters already injured and started a fight. Whilst fighting with his sisters, he allegedly slipped and fell.
Prior to his death, a number of domestic related incidents between him and his siblings were reported at Bohlokong Police Station and Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual offences Unit (FCS).
Bohlokong Detectives are awaiting post-mortem to determine cause of his death and murder case is under the investigation.
