Bloemfontein: Amogelang Ntsane (3) who was reported missing on Monday; 02 December 2019, was found three days later and unharmed.

The toddler who was reported to have been last seen playing with his friends in Phase 9; near Rekgone Primary School, was reported missing after her mother could not locate her anywhere.

During investigation it was discovered that he walked to his grandmother’s house and slept there.

“It is during this time of the year when we experience reports of children that are missing. We urge parents and family members to be vigilant and know where their children are at all times. Missing children/people should be reported with the immediately at the nearest police station ,as there is not 24 hour waiting period to report a missing person,” said Lieutenant General; Moeketsi Sempe.

“The longer you take the difficult it will be to trace the missing person. The community is also urged to download the recently launched MySAPS App which is available for free on IOS or Android that allows citizens to submit crime tip-offs anonymously, find nearest police stations and send emergency messages when in danger, or call out Crime Stop number 08600 10111.” concluded Lieutenant General Sempe.
