Tweespruit: On Tuesday; 18 August 2020, 70 year old Mr. Mosinki Joseph Mokhethi who stayed alone, was reported missing at Tweespruit police station as his next of kin could not get hold of him on his cellular phone.

Before they could open the missing person file, the police decided to go together with the next of kin to check at his home. The body of the deceased was found with stab wounds on the chest and on the neck inside the storeroom behind the house.

The investigating team worked around the clock to search for the suspect of this ruthless murder. On Wednesday, 19 August 2020 at about 18:00 the investigating official received an information about the whereabouts of the suspect and was found hiding inside the shack at a place called Borwa in Tweespruit.

The 37 year old suspect was found in possession of the shoes, brown leather bag, DVD machine, two plate stove and brown smoking pipe suspected to be belonging to the deceased.

Suspect was put under arrest and detained he will appear before the Ladybrand magistrate court on Friday, 21 August 2020 on a charge of murder amongst others.
