Ficksburg: The Ficksburg highway patrol have successfully intercepted suspicious looking vehicle and arrested three suspects with maize meal bags containing dagga.
On the 26 May 2021, two Ficksburg Highway patrol R26 road police officials intercepted three Lesotho foreign nationals near Denmar Farm, whilst patrolling. They were also conducting stop and search.
They stopped a blue and yellow Honda Fit SUV from Lesotho with two males and female occupants. Upon searching the car, they found six 50kg maize meal bags containing dagga to an estimated Street value of R128 000. The three were en route to Kimberly; in the Northern Cape.
The three suspects aged between 40 and 30 will be appearing before Ficksburg Magistrate court on Friday; 28 May 2021, facing charge of dealing in dagga.
