Regrettably,
230 deaths have been reported: Eastern Cape 24, Free State 7, Gauteng 21, Kwa-Zulu Natal 27, Limpopo 122, Mpumalanga 10, North West 0, Northern Cape 0 and Western Cape 19, which brings the total to 48 708 deaths.

Recoveries and active cases:

Recoveries now stand at 1 403 214, representing a recovery rate of 93,6%.

Vaccination Rollout:

The number of health care workers vaccinated under the Sisonke Protocol is 2 260, as of 6 pm; 18 February 2021.
