Bethlehem: Investigation into the two missing boys revealed that the boys allegedly drowned in the Liebenbergvlei River in Bohlokong, Bethlehem.
The SAPS Diving Unit was mobilized to resume with the search on Friday 5 March 2021 but due to the high level of water and heavy current, the search had to be called off, whilst arrangements were been made to close the valves.
It is with that the search will resume this morning so as to check if the boys indeed drowned and retrieve their bodies.
On Thursday 04 March 2021, two 14-year-old school boys from LT Nhlabathi School went missing. Their names are Siphiwe Mlangeni who reside at 20258 extension 08 in Bohlokong and Moratehi Radebe who stays at 10228 extension 08 Bohlokong.
It is alleged that the missing boys were together with another school boy of their same age and were walking together to the river next to the railway line not far from their homes to pick up herbs.
On their way the missing boys took another route and that was the last time he saw them. The police search team has been established to search for the missing children.
