Bothaville: Police are asking for public assistance in locating Sammy Mokhwamme who is believed that he can be able to assist in the investigation of a rape case that occurred on the 30 August 2020, in Kgotsong; Bothaville.
On that fateful day, a 36 year old female victim was allegedly assaulted and raped on three consecutive days by her alleged boyfriend at his place of residence. The complainant and the suspect allegedly had an argument which led to the suspect assaulting her.
The incident went on for three consecutive days. She was able to escape by telling him she was going to buy food for her grandfather.
Police are therefore asking the public for information about this man’s whereabouts.
The investigation was assigned to Detective/Sergeant Alice Ntholi, who managed to obtain an identikit because the victim could not provide a picture of the suspect.
The identikit described the man as a black South African male between 25-30 years old, Xhosa speaking, he has a dark skin complexion, he has dark and small eyes, two missing upper front row teeth, beard and shaven hair, medium body build with a height of about 1.9 meters. He was wearing a blue and yellow jersey and blue jeans.
