Bothaville: The Police are investigating a case of Business Robbery and therefore request the public to assist in tracing suspects after they attacked and robbed tavern workers at gun point.

On the 3rd February 2019, a 39 year old woman who is a Cashier at Masekofete tavern in Kgotsong; Bothaville, alleges that she was at the tavern behind the counter working. She was together with Mr Mothibedi and another Lesotho man, both men are Security Officers and it was a closing time.

Suddenly two men entered the tavern and Mr Mothibedi approached them. One of them was having a knife and the other one a firearm. They went outside and came back demanding his wood stick and took it. Both men attacked Mr Mothibedi on the head and all over the body using the stick. They then left him lying on the ground bleeding.

They went behind the counter and the complainant was busy counting the money. The men allegedly pointed her with a firearm and demanded money. They took an undisclosed amount of cash, 6X440ml Redds and the complainant’s Cellphone and ran away, together with one of the Security Officers.
