Thabong: The lifeless body of an unknown African man was found near Lenakeng Technical School; Thabong; Welkom, on Sunday; 11 April 2021, by a passer-by who reported the discovery to Thabong SAPS.

On arrival at the scene, police found the body of a man who had several stab wounds all over his body. The deceased was wearing a light blue tracksuit top, with red and green stipes on the sleeves, a black hat, black jeans and black slip on moccasin shoes.

The deceased had a tattoo on his right arm with the letters J Law, on his stomach he had one written THU LIFE, on his chest he had another tattoo in the form of a hand and it had the number 28 inside, another tattoo was drawn on his left shoulder with the number 28 and he also had one on his right leg that looked like a feather.

A case of murder was registered for further investigation.
