Harrismith: Police in Harrismith are looking for the suspect after a new modus operandi of theft of motor of vehicles was identified in the area. It is alleged that in most cases, the suspect will pretend to be a mechanic.

He will then ask vehicle owners what wrong with their car, thereafter request to take if for a test drive. Immediately when you give him a car to test, he drives off and never returns.

The suspect (identikit set as featured image) is mostly speaking IsiZulu and frequently operates in Harrismith area. So far;  four cases have been reported.

Communities in Harrismith and neighbouring areas are warned about this new method that the suspect is using to steal cars.
