Your current circumstances do not determine your final destination.
He was bullied as a boy because he could not speak well. On his second date with Nelia (his first wife), Joe did not have enough money to pay the bill at the restaurant. Nelia slipped him a $20 under the table.
He was drafted to serve in the military but failed the physical because he had asthma. In 1988, Biden underwent surgery for a brain aneurysm. Three months later, he had surgery for a second brain aneurysm. He lost his first wife and daughter to a car accident.
Following the death of his first wife and daughter, He had mental health struggles that took him to the brink of suicide. Joe Biden is the president-elect of the United States.
His story is one of many stories of people who overcame personal and business tragedies; challenges and obstacles, to finally reach their success.
To anyone struggling with anything, please remember, “tough times never last but tough people do.” Whatever is happening right now, will change. Nothing stays the same, that is one thing we can all be sure about. And that is a good enough reason to never give up.
You might be so close to getting to where you want to be, but you will never know if you give up now. Giving up should not be an option. Times of suffering can be an important moments in our lives that shake and shape us, as well as force us to look at where we are headed.
Ultimately it leads us to decide if we are going in a direction that is right for us. Suffering can be the biggest eye opener when it comes to self-awareness. Without it, we would not know acceptance, compassion, humility, tolerance and many other enriching qualities that make our lives more fulfilling and meaningful.
One of the biggest errors we make in life, is expecting it to be perfect. Of course, our expectations are never met because life is not supposed to be perfect. We are not supposed to be perfect and never will be.
Keep going! Your dreams are valid. Anything is possible for anybody; the only barrier ever standing in your way is your mind. Your current destination might be filled with pain and suffering but when you change your view of what is possible, you open the barriers for change to take place. If you can only see trouble ahead, only trouble will be ahead.
